Fellow guildies,

today, Patch 4.0.1 of World of Warcraft went live on the european realms, bringing a big number of changes to the essentials of the game along.

There is plenty of information about the changes on the interwebz, so instead of going deep into each one of them in here i will just link to a few good sources at the end of this post, so you can get educated about the changes yourself.

Of important note is, however, that we are putting Guild Raiding on Hold (!) for a week, to give all members some time to adjust to these changes!
You are, of course, free to join any PuGs, should you be given the chance, and we also don't see anything wrong with guild-members creating their own PuGs aswell (which we usually don't condone), but there will be no official Zen raids for this week, I'm afraid.

Of course, next week (20.10.2010) we will resume with official guild runs, although most probably not the same way we did so far (due to the big change that we now need to decide whether we're running 10man or 25man each week, or if we swap each week etc).

Following are some of the aforementioned good sources to read up on the changes, please make sure to read them thoroughly especially those concerning the classes you play yourself :

Wowheads Guide on Patch 4.0.1
Curses recommended readups on Patch 4.0.1
Wow Insiders "First things to do when Patch 4.0.1 hits live".
mmo-champions in-depth post about the recent changes.

We hope you all enjoy most of the changes and can find back to your beloved performance quickly, and wish you alot of fun with the first glimpse at the next expansion !
